Bachelorette Party #2: The Best Damn 2-Hour Bachelorette Party EVER!

I was impressed by my first bachelorette party and my bridal shower, but the awesomeness of each was not totally unexpected.  Karaoke is always awesome, and my mom had spent so much time telling me how much she was working on my bridal shower that I knew it would be good.

My Southern California bachelorette party, however, I did not have high expectations for.  The girls had less than 2 hours on a Sunday afternoon.  No one could expect much under those conditions.

So the amazingness of my second bachelorette party genuinely blew me away.

Warning:  this post is so not safe for work.

First, they rented a limo.  Which was AWESOME in itself.  I'm always down for a limo ride, and since I wasn't going to have one for the wedding, it was nice to have one for a wedding event.  I seriously would have been totally satisfied just riding around in the limo for 2 hours.

Limo!  And Yes, That's My Bridesmaid.

Once in the limo, the girls did their best to get me drunk, and while they were only mildly successful, my stomach punished me well into the next day for drinking without eating lunch or dinner.

And Me with My BookWorlds Buddies (Some of Them Anyway)

We played all sorts of fun games in the limo.  They had to guess things about my sex life, we kind of played truth or dare, and we all had to answer questions about our...preferences.  It was obvious that they had put a lot of hard work into making sure things were fun, and I really, really appreciate the effort.

But first and foremost came my challenges.  Our route was determined by a set of tasks that I had to perform.  The first was the most embarrassing (of course):  I had to find a hot guy on the beach who would let me write my name on his chest in lipstick.

I ended up finding 2.

They were actually with their girlfriends, but they were pretty much the ONLY hot guys on the beach, and the girlfriends were totally into it.  Not only were they highly attractive, but they were also European!  Double score!

Oh Yeah!

Next up, we headed to Shoreline Dr., the only mallish place in Long Beach.  The girls had brought the lingerie I had gotten from my bridal shower, and I had to ask men which one I should wear on my wedding night.

The vote was unanimous, and I actually did wear the purple one on our first night as husband and wife.

We asked quite a few men, young and old, single and married.  And by the time we left, we had met some very unusual characters.

Pirates!

How many women have gotten Jack Sparrow's opinion on their wedding night attire!  Actually, come to think of it, I'm probably not the only one.  Still, I felt pretty lucky to get 2 pirates' views on the subject.  We still have no idea what they were doing there, but it was pretty cool.  Sparrow was one of 3 men who told me that the best thing I could wear on my wedding night was nothing.

After that, it was sadly time to head to the airport.  But there was still one more task to perform:  I had to do quite the raunchy cheer in public.  With hand motions.  Yeah, ended up doing that about 20 feet from the security guards.  Fortunately, they still let me board the plane.

I had such an amazing time at my bachelorette party.  Given 8 hours on a Saturday night, I doubt it could have been better.  I do wish I could have had more time to spend with all of my friends, especially since I don't get to see them very often, but these were the cards we were dealt, and my bachelorette party was truly unforgettable.

Ladies, thank you so much for all of your hard work!  I love you all!

Did your bachelorette party unexpectedly turn out great?
